Cons
HORRIFIC LEADERSHIP The CEO is the classic story of a founder who is unable to transition from a good story teller/salesman to a high growth company leader. He hires “yes men and women” into his C-suite only to play favorites to the ones that do his bidding and pushes out others who actually know what they are doing. The other two founders throw wrenches in any project they can get involved in to pretend like they have a say. HYPOCRITICAL VALUES A wellness company that doesn’t value its employees' wellness. It was the most unhealthy and toxic environment I’ve ever seen. The company proclaims that they value “physiological safety” when they will fire a 15-person creative team in one sitting. They also used the pandemic as an excuse to cut down teams while they experienced growth. No empathy or care was shown either during BLM. UNORGANIZED CHAOS The company changes directions and priorities on a weekly basis. The CEO micromanages every creative that goes out and doesn’t bother to listen to data. He pushes teams at the end of every month, to make their numbers focusing on the short term bottom line rather than long term strategy. DON’T DO IT HR and the CEO have their sales pitch down when it comes to recruiting. You see the potential and want to make your mark on the brand. Save yourself and DO NOT JOIN. I regret wasting so much time here and taking a step backwards in my career because of it. It’s known industry-wide that this is a bad place to be. You won’t get any points for passing through. Trust me.
