Pros

Nyman is a reputable and honorable company to work for. I say that because a few years ago when I was searching for a new job, I had been promised amazing things by two other companies. Those two other companies did not deliver. Nyman; however, followed through with everything as promised--which included training an SLP who had 8 years of Outpatient Brain Injury experience to feel comfortable, competent, and qualified to work in acute care. Through this company I have had the privilege to meet and work with many bright, skillful and caring therapists. I highly recommend working for this company.

The staff at the placement site were welcoming.

1. Poor and inaccurate communications 2. Unauthorized payroll deductions (multiple times) 3. Health insurance "benefit" is misleading. It is only access to plans. Nyman's health insurance premium via payroll deduction was more than 13% of actual plan cost. For reference, the premium for health insurance cost of identical coverage via COBRA will be thousands of dollars cheaper annually than the premium rate as an employee. 4. Low paying compared to other agencies
