Pros

There is a lot of support available; if you reach out asking for help there is definitely someone who will provide guidance. They also recently started community forums which is a cool way to connect with other therapists and hear new ideas. There's flexibility in scheduling as with most contract companies. Every placement I've had with them I've loved. They provide access to medbridge (CEUs) and a stipend for materials.

Cons

It's a contract company - the cons are that you are ultimately a body that will fill a role so that they will get paid. I do think they make a slight effort to make employees feel like they do care, but in the end they're going to do what's best for them. If you know this going in and don't delude yourself, it's a decent company to work for, especially for new grads (or people who married rich and can afford to take advantage of the flexibility that contracting offers).

Pros

The staff at the placement site were welcoming.

Cons

1. Poor and inaccurate communications 2. Unauthorized payroll deductions (multiple times) 3. Health insurance "benefit" is misleading. It is only access to plans. Nyman's health insurance premium via payroll deduction was more than 13% of actual plan cost. For reference, the premium for health insurance cost of identical coverage via COBRA will be thousands of dollars cheaper annually than the premium rate as an employee. 4. Low paying compared to other agencies
