Pros
Co-workers are nice and the majority of the job is pretty straightforward. Just go through the application with client's for SSA. Co-workers are nice and supportive.
Cons
Expected to jump into hour long phone call appointments at the drop of a hat with customers ill prepared to give you the information you need, which creates a rather stressed out environment. Upper management changes things at the drop of a hat in order to "maximize results." Half the time you're expected to shove these people, who are often in their 50's, through all the questions regarding medical and job history so you can move on to the next one, which can lead to missing information since the client often doesn't know what they need before they set up their appointment, especially if it's one of the "live transfer" calls. There is an incentive system in place that gives a pay boost, but the requirements to be eligible are high enough that most weeks nobody would get it.
