Pros

1. Many people here are friends, so you’ll likely be able to make some friends here. Be careful, however, as gossip spreads quickly, and a few people are annoying. 2. The office is nice. You’ll have your own desk with two monitors.

Cons

There are so many cons. Please do not work here. I don’t know anyone who likes it here. Employee turnover is insanely high and the vast majority of people don’t stay for more than 6 months to a year. When I was thinking of taking the job, I almost didn’t because of the negative reviews (by the way, the reviews used to be terrible and then there were suddenly a ton of positive ones - thanks for writing fake reviews, management!). However, during the interview everyone was so nice, and the office was great, so I disregarded the reviews. PLEASE just save yourself the mental illness and find another job. 1. There have been multiple incidents of sexual harassment and stalking that were brought to HR’s attention. HR never did anything about them. 2. Case loads are way too high. Case managers handle over 450 clients, because the firm prioritizes profit over employee and client wellbeing. We take on way too many clients to handle, and as a result, emails and voicemails pile up and get overwhelming. We aren’t able to get back to clients in a timely manner. Clients then get angry and take it out on the case managers. 3. Many clients are rude. This job is primarily a customer service job, and this population is especially hard to work with. Clients are often mentally disabled and going through a tough time, and they take it out on the case managers. It’s discouraging when you’re on an hour long phone call and a client is screaming and cursing at you. 4. The firm misleads clients. Clients are often told that the social security disability process will be sped up by signing on with us (this is not true), and intake team is instructed not to tell clients that the process will take months. It’s hard to feel good working for a firm that claims to help disabled people when really their priority is money, and they’re willing to manipulate the poor and disabled people they claim to help. 5. You will not learn anything about law. I came into this job hoping to learn about what it is like to work at a law firm, as I hope to someday become a lawyer. You will not learn much. Case managers have almost nothing to do with the hearings, and so you will not get experience with hearings, prepping clients for hearings, etc. The work that we do simply involves calling and emailing clients and Social Security, and sometimes filing appeals, which is a mindless process of entering information into a website. 6. Management does not care about you. Don’t get me wrong, everyone is very nice, but at the end of the day you’re there to make them money, and they do not care much about employee wellbeing.

Pros

Will make you wish you didn’t work here

Cons

This firm has zero culture, the lawyers praise themselves by saying they are compassionate to their clients but will not care a penny about you in reality. HR will give you attitude for free, they never answer your questions and will tell you to read the handbook instead of just replying to the message. The partners are money and business driven, definitely don’t expect respect nor appreciation. As a former employee I will say, the firm forced us to work through hurricanes, the office building was flooded after the hurricane leaving us without AC and no elevators, we had to climb 7 flights of stairs daily for about 3weeks, we also had a fire inside the parking garage which left some of my coworkers without a car yet we were expected to show up to work. In conclusion, I do not recommend working here unless you’re ready to start taking mental health meds.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take every employee's experience seriously, and we remain committed to the supportive, professional environment we work to maintain across the firm. The safety and well-being of our team is always a top priority, including during events like severe weather and other situations affecting access to our facilities. When circumstances like these arise, we work to make appropriate accommodations and to address safety concerns for our employees as quickly as possible. Many of the clients we represent are facing serious, often terminal, illnesses, and delays in their cases can carry real consequences for them and their families. We are mindful of our responsibility to support our team while continuing to serve clients who depend on us to keep their cases moving. We are committed to an environment where employees can raise questions, receive timely answers, and feel supported by HR and leadership. Our firm's mission is rooted in helping clients navigate a difficult process, and we extend that same care and commitment to our team. We're proud of the employees who have grown with us into leadership roles, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, generous time off, and strong retirement options as part of that commitment. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you well in your future endeavors.
