Pros

Good pay and a nice location

Cons

Oh boy where do I start. Imagine working for a company that does not care about you as an employee and is always working against you. This is Nyman Turkish. - In hurricanes there is no assistance whatsoever you have to “makeup” every single hour you didn’t work. Also, we had to work with NO AC AND NO ELEVATORS. - Their “bonus” system changes everytime we do good and actually hit the bonus goals to make it harder - There is a clear bias towards the California branch since they get treated way better and are offered outings/lunches. For example, my branch (florida) was asked what kind of food everyone would like for a special event and when everyone chose a nice Italian restaurant they just got olive garden even though no one voted it. - Prepare to get harassed constantly by upper management to work more even though you do. - They keep changing the schedules, went from 4 10 hour days which is what we had for a couple years to 5 days a week from 10 to 6:30 which is way worse than the normal 9 to 5.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We strive to create a supportive environment where open communication about role expectations and advancement opportunities is encouraged. Many of our team members have successfully grown into leadership positions, and we are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, generous time off, and robust retirement options. We prioritize the safety of our team in all situations, including severe weather events. During the recent hurricane, we made accommodations based on the information available at the time to ensure our employees' well-being. Our firm is also proud to help thousands of clients obtain disability benefits every year, and we continuously adapt to the needs of our clients and the industry. As an industry leader, we deeply value the hard work and dedication of our team. Your feedback is important to us, and we take it seriously as we continue to improve. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Will make you wish you didn’t work here

Cons

This firm has zero culture, the lawyers praise themselves by saying they are compassionate to their clients but will not care a penny about you in reality. HR will give you attitude for free, they never answer your questions and will tell you to read the handbook instead of just replying to the message. The partners are money and business driven, definitely don’t expect respect nor appreciation. As a former employee I will say, the firm forced us to work through hurricanes, the office building was flooded after the hurricane leaving us without AC and no elevators, we had to climb 7 flights of stairs daily for about 3weeks, we also had a fire inside the parking garage which left some of my coworkers without a car yet we were expected to show up to work. In conclusion, I do not recommend working here unless you’re ready to start taking mental health meds.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take every employee's experience seriously, and we remain committed to the supportive, professional environment we work to maintain across the firm. The safety and well-being of our team is always a top priority, including during events like severe weather and other situations affecting access to our facilities. When circumstances like these arise, we work to make appropriate accommodations and to address safety concerns for our employees as quickly as possible. Many of the clients we represent are facing serious, often terminal, illnesses, and delays in their cases can carry real consequences for them and their families. We are mindful of our responsibility to support our team while continuing to serve clients who depend on us to keep their cases moving. We are committed to an environment where employees can raise questions, receive timely answers, and feel supported by HR and leadership. Our firm's mission is rooted in helping clients navigate a difficult process, and we extend that same care and commitment to our team. We're proud of the employees who have grown with us into leadership roles, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, generous time off, and strong retirement options as part of that commitment. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you well in your future endeavors.
