Cancerous Management Team (if the word team meant: dysfunctional) - Sales Management Nystrom Inc Employee Review

Pros

From middle management to the production floor the employees rally together and make the best out of the situation. I met some fantastic people who designed, fabricated, sold and supported a good product.

Cons

Only 5 bad apples. But they're rotten and unfortunately rest at the top of the tree. Largest apple doesn't even know it's an apple. Important apple was selected by default. 2nd apple is truly poisonous. The other two are simply there to protect the top three apples from worms. Worms in this story is what most people would call: common sense.

Pros

I immediately felt welcomed and supported. The company provides strong sales tools and in-depth training on how to use them. Expectations and goals are clear and achievable. Compensation is fair, and the more you put in, the more you get back. The culture is incredible, management leads by example, successes are shared, and challenges are handled as a team.

Cons

The fast-paced environment can feel intimidating at first, but the team is supportive and invested in your success.

Pros

Opportunity to build skill set, some coworkers

Cons

Low pay, benefits are lacking, you get sick and safe time but not pto (it's the same thing, you don't get both so don't expect to be able to get to take time off and get to take days if you get sick). Promotions are based on favoritism. They don't know how to effectively utilize labor. There is no leadership. I don't think the company will last.
