Managers are often not qualified for their positions and, from my experience, spend too much of their time finding others to blame for things that go wrong within their department. It often seemed that no one was willing to take responsibility for things that went wrong, and a lot of things went wrong. Managers are given too much free reign and often undermine their subordinates. As a result, the company has an unusually high incident of employee civil rights lawsuits.
