Horrible management - Former Employee/Manager O-I Glass Employee Review

Used to be an ok company to work for but new management took over and the whole place went downhill. Many rule changes for no reason other than a power trip. Union doesn’t fight for you like they should but you’re paying too much money in union dues. No care for employees whatsoever and will know months before a layoff or closing but will not tell employees until last possible second. They keep the bad employees and let go all of the good. 12 hour rotating shifts with a horrible attendance policy, no personal days, they also force over for double shifts when other people don’t show up with no notice to work and will give you a point if you don’t do it.
