Poor Employee Loyalty ("Fire First, Ask Questions Later"), Good Ol' Boy System - Terrible Company to Build Career With - Anonymous employee O'Neal Steel Employee Review

If times get tough, the first response by upper management is to fire their employees ("corporate restructuring") in an attempt to cut costs. It doesn't matter if you're a 2-year or 20-year company man/woman - when the company is struggling, everyone's job is on the line. Be prepared to see your colleagues and/or manager exit the company when the going gets rough. Very political corporate environment - the executive team promotes friends/family members over performance. The good ol' boy system is alive and well at O'Neal Steel, and it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.
