Pros

Lots of advancement opportunity. Company tries to instill a good culture and tends to trust the decisions of its people (unless they are bad decisions). They've been in business long enough to be able to tell the difference most of the time. Decent benefits, 401k with matching, stock purchase program,1 week paid vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 7 plus paid holidays 5 or 6 times a year for full timers.

Cons

Pay raises are insultingly low, even for top performers unless you threaten to quit. Then it's suddenly like you've just discovered you've got a rich uncle. Saw many good people leave when a respectful raise could have kept them from getting discouraged and looking at the want ads. Type of environment you work in daily is largely dependent on the type of Store Manager your location has. That can vary widely, but if you get a good one it can be a great job most days if customer service doesn't bother you.

Pros

The catalog system is easy to use and technology wise they are pretty up to date, very simple and convenient

Cons

The hours suck, the pay sucks. The company only cares about profit it’s no different from autozone, they are able to sell parts for less compared to Napa because they pay the employees barely above minimum, they don’t like giving raises no matter how hard your work you have to basically be a store manager or higher to get a good pay. They open more stores to make more profit and keep employees at the bare minimum. It sucks working there I think if your ISS, which is wholesale, you can make decent money with that because they give a bigger bonus from the amount of sales you make plus less responsibility and better hours but thats if a position opens up and you’ll probably be there 4 plus years until you can get that position unless you’re lucky and one opens up in the area.
