Pros

Decent pay for the area. Benefits are ok. Most of the people are really helpful and nice. Plenty of opportunities for growth/improvement. Promote from within. Company keeps growing, so it's very steady and stable.

Cons

For the area, the pay is decent, but not for what you are asked to do. Most departments are short staffed and overworked, creating a nearly hostile work environment. Upper management will deny requests to hire more people, regardless of what supporting evidence the team/department heads bring to them. Work-life balance (especially for mid-management) is non-existent. Culture is preached but not practiced. Policy is only a guideline, until management needs it to be a hard line for their purposes. Leadership is mediocre at best, since they don't trust their team with the information that they need to do their job. New ideas are not encouraged and are often shot down (It's not broken, so we don't need to change the way we've always done this). Turn over is really high. Unsure if this due to the fact that the pay is subpar to the task load, or because the leadership is lacking.

Pros

Great company. Great management. Flexible schedule. Competitive pay. Great advancement opportunities as long as you work it. Friendly customers and great coworkers.

Cons

Interviews and getting hired on usually take a while because it goes through so many people up the line. Most companies the store manager can hire and/or fire someone but this company it all goes through several people
