Pros

It is a job. Good place for lazy employees who like to sit around for 3 hours a day doing nothing. Call in sick or come in late habitually this is the company for you. Steal overtime by not punching out for lunch, fund a nice vacation. You do not even have to do your job just show up and feed your face all day and talk or play games on your cell phone. You will even get your 1 to 2% raise per year with this job performance.

Cons

Low pay! No benefits. Will only hire part time no more than 28 hours per week. This is to ensure you get no benefits. O' Reilly Auto Parts is not a place to seek a real career. They have a corporate culture which is a big joke because they do not care about their employees. They just want $8.00 per hour bodies to staff their stores. The worst employee you are seems to be the greatest benefit to them! The atmosphere company wide is pretty much I do not care!

Pros

The catalog system is easy to use and technology wise they are pretty up to date, very simple and convenient

Cons

The hours suck, the pay sucks. The company only cares about profit it’s no different from autozone, they are able to sell parts for less compared to Napa because they pay the employees barely above minimum, they don’t like giving raises no matter how hard your work you have to basically be a store manager or higher to get a good pay. They open more stores to make more profit and keep employees at the bare minimum. It sucks working there I think if your ISS, which is wholesale, you can make decent money with that because they give a bigger bonus from the amount of sales you make plus less responsibility and better hours but thats if a position opens up and you’ll probably be there 4 plus years until you can get that position unless you’re lucky and one opens up in the area.
