Pros

Absolutely awesome assistant manager where I work, out of the two store managers the second and current one is definitely the best. Vision insurance is excellent.

Cons

Pay is horrendous, literally worse than McDonald's. Scheduling is absolutely terrible, I have worked nothing but closing shifts almost the entire time I have worked there, asking for time off has to be done 4 WEEKS IN ADVANCE, which is absolutely absurd. Pay raises are nearly non existent, after 9 months, multiple requests, doing 10 times more work, having many more responsibilities than when I started, and 70% of the time of me being there I was the only manager on duty being responsible for a store with over $750,000 of merchandise and I still made the exact same $15 an hour as when I started. Also the health insurance costs an egregious amount of money for it being extremely mediocre.

Pros

Great company. Great management. Flexible schedule. Competitive pay. Great advancement opportunities as long as you work it. Friendly customers and great coworkers.

Cons

Interviews and getting hired on usually take a while because it goes through so many people up the line. Most companies the store manager can hire and/or fire someone but this company it all goes through several people
