Mismanagement, extremely lazy managers who create issues and then leave their employees to clean up the mess. We were asked to complete near impossible tasks on a daily basis while the managers spent most of their time in the break room playing pool. The managers would often accept an order that was not realistic to fulfil in a certain timeframe and would misquote customers but were never held accountable for the branches short comings or failures (which were extremely common). Asked to handle tasks that you are not qualified for or paid high enough to complete because the managers were too busy watching meetings (not participating in them) and playing pool, or on their 8th week of vacation that year. They also claim to have a great work life balance, but I found myself working off the clock routinely and every time I took PTO I was receiving calls from my managers asking me to do remote work. I have never been unhappier or unhealthier than when I was working for OES. I'm confident that the company itself is not the problem, the branch I worked for just had the misfortune of having the poorest management I've ever encountered.
