Pros

Competitive compensation package. Office location is convenient and well-situated. The company provides transport and meal subsidies which are a practical day-to-day benefit.

Cons

OKX promotes its internal values framework, including principles around integrity and speaking up, but my experience suggests these are not consistently upheld in practice. I raised a formal internal complaint against a direct superior, with documented evidence and colleagues willing to corroborate. The outcome was my departure from the company within a short window of that submission. The individual I raised concerns about remains in a leadership position today. Following the resolution of my case, a significant portion of my former team chose to leave the company within the same quarter. I will let that pattern speak for itself. Performance records here can be strong across multiple cycles without providing meaningful protection when organisational politics are in play.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your feedback. We take concerns about how our values are upheld in practice seriously. The situation you've described—raising a formal complaint and then departing shortly after—deserves to be examined carefully, and we recognise that the outcome will understandably have shaped your view of whether our stated principles translate into action. We cannot comment on individual cases, but we want you to know that formal complaints and the people who raise them are important to us, and we are committed to investigating them thoroughly and protecting those involved from retaliation. If there are specific details about how your case was handled that you'd be willing to discuss, please reach out to our HRBP team, who may be able to provide context on the process and decisions made. Thank you once again for raising this.

Pros

Its better than being unemployed

Cons

Everything at this company is so unnecessarily complex. Why do we need two different email addresses, Lark, Google Docs, VPNs, multiple internal systems, and 2FA every other hour just to get through a normal workday? The VPN times out constantly so you’re forced to log back in, random access gets revoked for no apparent reason, and then you’re left opening tickets just to do your job. Half the internal documentation is in Chinese, so good luck trying to figure anything out yourself. None of this makes us more productive. It’s just layers of friction piled on top of each other. Feels like half my job is navigating internal processes instead of actually doing the work. Non existent leadership. Like literally sometimes I forget who’s in charge, we on occasion will hear from our leaders during year end or at random times throughout the year but most of the time they are sight unseen. No work life balance because this company is a global company and people don’t respect work life boundaries. It’s a Chinese company which doesn’t really even try and hide it. The folks from China can be quite rude, sexist and generally very clueless to how to act professionally . It’s pretty sad
