Beware of raises on internal promotions - Anonymous employee ONE Gas Employee Review

The compensation policies for internal promotions are ridiculous. I came into this position thousands of dollars below the starting salary because it would have been too high of a raise to get me to the minimum. They refuse to give promotional raises higher than 20%, even when it means you are $10,000 or more below what they would have paid someone off the street. This “policy” is not written anywhere for employees to see prior to applying for internal promotions.
