Pros

The junior team members and that you are still able to work remotely.

Cons

There is serious pay stagnation at OH, no progression except for the senior team and even if you are one of the very very few who is promoted you will be offered only 1-2K extra. Those who work day to day with clients are expected to go above and beyond constantly for no thanks and burn out across teams is extremely common. So many good people have left because of the environment, terrible incompetent people have stayed. Communication from the senior team is absolutely terrible, you are lied to all the time. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Thank you for your comments. It is good to hear that you see value in working with your colleagues and you like the fact that OPEN Health allows significant flexibility to allow work/life balance. This is of course one of the many things that companies can offer but so many are now removing. We pay competitive rates for our roles and aim to create an environment within which talent can thrive. If you feel you have not been promoted or overlooked in some way, I would urge you to speak with your Line Manager in order to understand why. We encourage client excellence and pride ourselves on the vast experience our teams bring which ensure we retain our client portfolio. There will always be times where we are more busy than other times but again, if this is out of kilter please speak with your Line Manager. Lastly we recognise that our communication could be better and thats why we have introduced Leadership Forum's, Town Halls and we have a weekly newsletter which are all designed to improve communication around the business as a whole.

Pros

Great place. Been here almost 5 years. Highly recommend.

Cons

Well, it's been a bit tumultuous in the industry of late, but I think we're being navigated ably through it.

Pros

You get to work from home. That is the only benefit.

Cons

You will work overtime without compensation every single day. When it comes time for a raise you will consistently get below industry standard with no ability to negotiate or talk to the decision makers (they will just email you from an address you can not respond to, to avoid the chance that you may counter). When it comes time for a promotion they will give you a new salary that matches the position below your new one, and again, will give you no opportunity to negotiate or discuss your insulting raise. There are no bonuses at all, so get that notion out of your mind. Executive leadership cares more about creating acronyms than actually resourcing departments appropriately. And the moment you show a willingness to go above and beyond, instead of rewarding you, they will simply give you more responsibility with no additional compensation. I was recently promoted, and am now making the salary I should have been making in my last position. I had one of the VP’s at the company recently tell me that I should be making 30k more at least, and to start looking for a new job because this company doesn’t care about retaining talented employees.
