- Extremely overcapacity workforce, burnout among colleagues is the norm
- New colleagues to the business or to the client account will regularly get thrown into the deep end and I do not think the company is managed in a way that promotes a safe learning environment as existing team members do not have the time to properly invest in onboarding new colleagues
- Overtime is the norm, which is not rewarded in a meaningful way (the most recognition will be a shout out in the company newsletter, easily ignored)
- Seniors will put more junior colleagues in the firing line
- A lot of people made redundant through 2023, no recruitment to match the growing project workload and no promotions/pay rises; quite top heavy in some areas of the business with a lot of senior people who sit in meetings, but not enough junior or middle roles to do the actual work
- Extremely out of touch senior leadership
- You can voice your concerns about work life balance and overworking to your line manager and more senior managers all you want, but nothing will change in a sensible time frame (if at all)
