Pros

Compensation and benefits. You’ll learn different skills in a unique industry. If working out of Insurance Auto Auctions headquarters, you’ll meet some great people outside of your immediate team.

Cons

This is a job to take if you just need a paycheck and good benefits for the time being. There is an extreme lack of work, meaning you will make it through emails and follows ups before 10AM and some days even earlier, even after asking for things to do/coming up with things to do. There is no training and development and the growth potential sold when first joining was never even an option after joining. The team is small (now 2 people under the manager) and split between Westchester IL and Carmel IN. Finally, understand before taking a job on this team that the manager you will report to is very inexperienced, young and enjoys being in control rather than a being leader.
