Pros

They try to make it fun, but it falls flat due to lack of authentic care about people.

Cons

We are flooded with new hires ( most from interactive intelligence) to replace the people who are leaving en masse, and those that are being fired under guise of transformation and reorganize. Good people who are tired of the culture being eroded and their skills and value trashed are jumping ship in droves. Directors, managers, Vice Presidents are leaving, senior employees are leaving. Contractors are being paid to go to training, trained and allowed to take certification tests all on KAR dime, while employees are not being trained or are being shuffled to lower level teams and roles. The environment is stifling, cut throat, and full of ego. Stay away.

Like many industries, automotive remarketing is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by advances in data and technology. With any transformation there comes change, and change brings both new challenges and new opportunities. So we recognize we need to evolve our operating model and in some to capture the many opportunities ahead and lead that change. Though we don’t believe your comments accurately portray our company or culture, we do appreciate your candor. Feel free to share more or ask us any questions at listens@karauctionservices.com.
