Pros

The pay is very decent for the work you do, benefits are included and the job itself is very respectable and challenging.

Cons

If you are a person who likes to come to work, not talk to anyone all day and leave with little interaction with your managers, then this is the job for you! I came into this job being told that the culture and environment were really relaxed and friendly. However, i quickly learned as a temp employee, that it's just relaxed and not friendly at all. Most of everyone walks around like they're pissed at the world, so unless you know them, they won't even look at you or say anything. I work in a department where managers only socialize with some team members and not others, just like a high school clique if you can imagine. Morale on my team is very low, neither HR or the managers do much to improve it. If you ever have a problem involving another employee, be prepared to have nothing done about it and instead people will act passive aggressively towards you for bring up a complaint. Again, if you are ok with not making any sort of connection with people you spend 60% of your week with, then this is the job for you. Only horizontal advancement available for most employees.
