Pros

I don't have any to share.

Cons

How do I count the ways? They buy companies when they can't beat them. They don't integrate the systems and software (from new acquisitions) making the employee and customer experience a disaster. They have no financial sense at auction and from a corporate standpoint. Nepotism runs deep. Females are not equals. Marketing is disrespected throughout the company. The EVP of marketing has no business running the department. He's an attorney turned corporate communication guy with no experience running a creative marcom team.

The company also makes industrial power generation equipment, automatic transfer switches, switch gear and controls, and remote monitoring software. Generac sells its products through retailers, such as Home Depot, and wholesale distributors. Established in 1959, Generac was purchased by private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors in 2006.
