      Pros

      Its an interesting product with a large history which give a techie an endless number of interesting problems to work on. There are cool work packages on all fronts from features to platform to refactoring tech debt.

      Cons

      If you don't like office politics move along. If you are a remote worker this is not likely the place for you. This company is completely top down, based on a clique located at the main office. It is a closed circle made up of people regrouping from a previous firm, very tight knit, its just to bad that the group are from the Jack Welch school of management or completely inexperienced in their role.

Generac sells its products through retailers, such as Home Depot, and wholesale distributors. Established in 1959, Generac was purchased by private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors in 2006. Generac went public in 2010.
