Pros
I was recently was severed from KAR Global and I know people generally bash being Reduced because of corporate realignment, but I can say that KAR Global is doing their best to make the experience as painless as possible. It definitely could have been all about the money, but they did not treat it that way and I feel like, even in a RIF situation, they cared about a good experience for me. Generally throughout my employment there, I felt like a member of the team maybe even a family. Like any family that separates up, it doesn't feel as warm there, but it is still home.
Cons
Obviously no one likes to be reduced, but understanding the economics of their situation it made sense after the initial shock.
