      Pros

      There have been a lot of changes recently but the company is doing everything it can to help acclimate the employees to the changes, and there has been a lot of open communication from leadership. Change means the company is growing and changing with the marketplace, adapting with new technologies and consolidating products to make it more simple for customers. The company listens to employees as well when a particular change needs to be amended. Happy to work here!

The company also makes industrial power generation equipment, automatic transfer switches, switch gear and controls, and remote monitoring software. Generac sells its products through retailers, such as Home Depot, and wholesale distributors. Established in 1959, Generac was purchased by private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors in 2006. Generac went public in 2010.
