Pros

- This is a great place to work if you are looking for a place where you can perfect what you are good at and learn new skills. - Incredible staff and fun work environment - Management alows you to "make your own path" - unlimited PTO - Great for job seekers at any level of their career -Growing workplace with challenging work - stability in most roles

Cons

- 401k & Benefits are terrible! - Compensation is fine, but is not the most competitive unless applying for upper management. You can find better pay & benefits elsewhere - EXCESSIVE meetings - A lot of employees are regularly overworked * - Hybrid work is great, but there should not be a requirement on office days for those who are not in cusomer-facing positions. Just simply no need & hinders productivity on 'social' office days. - Confusing leadership goals & initiatives - A LOT of talk: OPEXUS was recently purchased by a private equity firm, and sometimes it seems the new management is very focused on becoming a 'cool tech company' & a 'known employer in DMV'. While these are good goals, there are parts of the company that need support and help that are just being overlooked. Resources are poured into select departments while others seem to be struggling. Unclear as to what the actual unspoken goal of management is. Every company initiative is somehow about 'company values', 'our mission', 'what sets us apart', & 'building community' - feels odd to bring up so often - Outdated products. The advertisements & sales use language as if it were a new, 'game-changing' software while it is very outdated and needs improvements

Pros

* Coworkers are all very kind and interesting, bringing different perspectives to the table * Unlimited PTO * While it varies depending on your manager, I've felt supported in my professional growth and like my supervisor genuinely cares about my development. Tuition assistance is available, senior employees will answer your questions, and leadership is easy to reach for career chats and advice. * The office is easily accessible (right by two metro stations and several bus stops, with a lot of parking lots nearby) and is a nice space. Very convenient for DC residents. While this isn't everyone's experience, I like coming in; I get more work done, I feel like I know more people outside of my team, and I learn a lot more about the company * This is both a Pro and a Con depending on how you look at it, but you will be working hard. It's a growing company and you may have to take on more challenges than your peers in other companies, but you will gain more experience, take on more new projects, and develop more new skills than they may have the opportunity to do. * Events are put on (small and large) to encourage community-building and to make people look forward to coming into the office/interacting with their coworkers.

Cons

* Again, it's hard work. If you don't take care of yourself or enforce your boundaries you can get burnt out. Depending on where you're at in life, this may be a deal-breaker for you. * Higher turnover than what you would want to see. It seems like the main cause of people leaving is finding a fully remote job or one closer to where they live if they're not in DC. But it does create a weird vibe
