Pros
Pretty easy job over all. You get to listen to music, and kind of do your own thing. You have a dashboard that pops up tasks if the doctor orders any braces or anything. You also have to work with insurance doing prior authorization. It’s not bad, once you learn how to do a PA, you can figure out how to do them for other insurance companies too.
Cons
Sometimes patients can be a handful, but that’s any part of healthcare. You also have to be able to multitask!! You can go from nothing going on, to all the sudden every doctor in clinic needs something. Overall, I really like my job. I leave work at work, I don’t have to think about it when I clock out.
