Pros

Work in the gaming/tech industry Meet some cool individuals who became friends Usually a M-F job.

Cons

Mandatory Overtime for what seems to be more than a year now (it began with the pandemic and its still "mandatory"). I don't think I've seen a full weekend at home because we are forced to be here on Saturdays with only Sunday as a rest day. Not to mention working from early in the morning to 6 PM every, single day for "quota" Low entry level pay in comparison to other venues of work. Most of the Management is terrible. Some of the company is lead by some interesting characters who anywhere else would probably be entry level, not management. No room for growth. There are no promotions that are meaningful here for anyone that works hard. There are SO many deserving folks at Origin PC that should be Supervisors or Managers but the company is stuck in 1999 with poor values, work/life balance and principles also the benefits are poor. No meaningful discounts on their pc's. We sell them all day long, build them and meet these quotas but of course we are not allowed anything over a ridiculously low percentage. It seems as if outside friends are treated better than their own employees. Company culture is non-existent unless you count the mandatory overtime and expecting employees to be machines. There is no care for quality of life here or work/life balance. No gym, No lunches - only a bagel and juice on a Monday for the people that work endlessly for this company.
