Pros
Paycheck hasn't bounced yet. Working here you'll develop skills in picking out on where to not work when you inevitably find a new place to work. Days when your manager decides to stay home are pretty nice. They hire diversely.
Cons
They will save a dollar anywhere that they can and it will be at your expense. Be it finding a way to not give you a bonus that theyre giving to others in your department or cutting your yearly raise. The only thing competitive about their pay would be you competing for better pay. Money they save is used to buy up facilities that they then understaff and offer a subpar form of care. Do not expect actual management. They're more of a speaker system, you will never actually hear from the source and any concerns you have will either be thrown to the wind or tossed in the shredder. They can't afford to keep our cafeteria staffed. so patient meals can be up in the air at times. It might be because you make more as a cart pusher for a grocery store than starting any entry level position here. Management are in constant meetings, there are even meetings about meetings (not joking). They take up all their time with sitting behind a computer that the people that are suppose to be the figurehead of your department has no earthly idea what is actually going on.
