      Many in management roles are stuck in the ways of the past. Corporate old school. Pay rates below average. Poor work-life balance.

      Pros

      Strict ratios for nurses at this hospital. Med-surg never above 5 patients on day shift. Good 401k matching, good pto.

      Cons

      same issues as most hospital nursing environments. Being over-worked with very sick patients, feelings stretched too thin with less resources each year. that being said, this was a better environment than most hospitals.
