      Maybe hiring more RN's on staff instead of Medical Office Assistants and just have RN's andLPN's like it used to be

      Pros

      Strict ratios for nurses at this hospital. Med-surg never above 5 patients on day shift. Good 401k matching, good pto.

      Cons

      same issues as most hospital nursing environments. Being over-worked with very sick patients, feelings stretched too thin with less resources each year. that being said, this was a better environment than most hospitals.
