Pros
The benefits are competitive and the salary is close to market. The people in which I work with are friendly and management are very good people to work for. The hours tend to take up more than 40 hours. But with the changes that are occurring, that is to expected
Cons
The issue with the organization is the lack of vision moving forward. Since the dismissal of executive leadership, no one in the organization has stepped up to fill in the gap. This has led to decisions being made by outside organizations known as their partners that does not benefit the vision and goals that were set forth by previous leadership. Without warning or discussion, the movement backwards has been set into motion without waiting for new leaders to fill the roles. OU Medicine has ignored people who are more experienced in their perspective fields and allowed other organizations and personnel make irreversible decisions that could affect patient care.
