Pros

Compensation is better than most places.

Cons

Nurse practitioners were constantly disrespected by nurses, doctors, and management. Treated as if NPs could not handle the work of a physician, but was given the same workload and less help. Nps were actually efficient because the can pull off the same work with less help. No teamwork and everyone is lazy, does not want to do their job. No initiative in staff. Worse place I’ve ever worked.

Pros

Fairly good benefits given that the companies run by CVS, Nice, clean place to work with people who generally care about elderly and disabled individuals. $3000 tuition reimbursement per year.

Cons

Pay is very low for some positions, including mine. Juneteenth not recognized as a federal holiday. Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, sometimes earlier and sometimes later, depending on when patients finish. Patients can be difficult to contact and deal with.
