First, I'd like to say that all of the 5 Star Reviews here are fake and planted by management. I can guarantee you that the feelings about the company are not that positive all round. All they care about here is money and how much business you can bring in. They act like they're in it for the patient, but once you've been involved with the company long enough, you realize how greedy they actually are. People are just numbers in there. They bring insurance agents into the clinics to convince these poor medicare patients to change their insurance just so that they can come on as a patient at the clinic and have to endure countless unnecessary appointments. I'm pretty sure that's a federal violation. Working at Oak Street was the worst working experience I've had thus far. I felt icky going to work everyday. There was so much pressure to force people who were completely fine with their current primary care physicians to switch insurance companies JUST to become a patient with us. Having insurance agents around all the time just added more pressure to the situation, as they were expecting leads from us and vice versa. Overall, Oak Street is in it for the money, and nothing else.
