If I had 6 months to live, I would work here because it would feel like forever and I would have experience in hell - Outreach Executive Oak Street Health Employee Review

Pros

You get gift cards sometimes but other than that, literally nothing.

Cons

For the love of god, work anywhere else. I was constantly screamed at and harassed by my coworkers. At one point, my coworkers went THROUGH my file cabinet and I was reprimanded for leaving it unlocked. I was VERY clear about being Jewish and one of my coworkers would put very Christian prayers in our group chat every time they had some kind of problem with me. I would express my concerns about the toxic work environment and was gaslit and told that “I was being sensitive.” I would have full on panic attacks on Sunday nights because I would have to go there on Monday. Regional management was just a bunch of 20 somethings on a power trip. It was a GREAT week of no one threatened to fire me and I was one of the top performers in the region. After I quit, I got contacted by reporters because they’re apparently being investigated by the SEC for transportation fraud. I was also the top performer in my office, but given the lowest base commission.

Pros

Fairly good benefits given that the companies run by CVS, Nice, clean place to work with people who generally care about elderly and disabled individuals. $3000 tuition reimbursement per year.

Cons

Pay is very low for some positions, including mine. Juneteenth not recognized as a federal holiday. Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, sometimes earlier and sometimes later, depending on when patients finish. Patients can be difficult to contact and deal with.
