Poor management - Environmental Health and Safety Manager Oatey Employee Review

GM and HR were a nightmare to work with. HR was meant to keep things on a straight an arrow. Instead HR acted like the GM Secretary getting him food and telling him about complaints that were mad regarding him, ridiculous conflict of interest on a daily basis. The Gm was your topical over 60 Caucasian male that didn’t think he had to answer to anybody but his boss. He didn’t listen to safety policies and constantly told his supervisors to in more the safety police’s the company wanted enforced. The GM was rude and unprofessional and made racist remarks all the time, And HR swept it all under the rug. They created a very nasty work environment it was pretty sad. They never wanted to speaks any real money on doing anything for the associates to show their gratitude. Poorly planed parties with cheap food, and cheap kid like prizes. Over worked there shift supervisors and associates.
