The management are on a path to self destruction whilst working on their own agendas. They have spent so much effort making sure their development plans are structured for themselves they have forgotten those around them. Managers employed in positions for their friendships or relationships with other managers not their actually skill or ability. Redundancies made of staff that were essentially the next managers and some of the most experienced in the business with no reason given to those individuals other than “benchmark” Those not made redundant from the same role ironically all related in some way to people in the business or have no plans to progress so aren’t a threat to other managers. Incentives for bringing your best self and giving the odd member of staff a mug with chocolate bars in seen as a way to encourage and motivate.
