What is Ocean Spray like now? Lots of opportunity for people that thrive in change, process optimization, agile work methods, innovation, and execution. If you want a cushy job to fill the time or like to complain about stuff without driving solutions or change, then you should not work here. The company is in the midst of a massive overhaul of systems, processes, work methods, and organizational structure and culture. I have never been more optimistic for the future of the company. The new leadership team is supportive, dynamic, forward thinking, and strategic. Most negative comments directed to the leadership are from toxic people or people that want the old Ocean Spray culture and leadership to come back. That ship sailed because it was fostering a downward trend. In a fast-moving change environment mistakes have been made and will be made, that is to be expected, but with strong leadership and rewards for risk taking, you can still move in a positive direction. If you want to be part of building something that will drive the company for many years to come and enjoy working hard and smart, please stay if you work here or come to work here. Cons
The people that are not up for all of the change and do not have the courage to find another job that will make them happy. The sad side of optimizing an organization where good people doing transactional activities are laid because of a more efficient cost model. Those good people will be missed.
