Pros
Direct manager is superb! No micromanagement, flexible schedule, trusts employees in the office. Benefits such as PTO, insurance and retirement contributions seem good.
Cons
Research Admin is a mess from top to bottom. It feels like Research is an afterthought rather than a part of the overall system (it's been like this for years, but the promises that this will improve have never materialized). Leadership has a poor understanding of the fundamentals of clinical research and the necessary infrastructure. Accountability and communication are not valued by the leadership. It is rumored that the Research department has the highest turnover in all of the system, which would not be surprising. No room for advancement, "it's too difficult to justify to HR"
