Pros
They have a seamless and efficient on boarding process and everyone in every department is incredibly welcoming to new hires. They truly care about their employees and do a great job to keep employees’ wellbeing in mind when making executive decisions. Ochsner management also has a keen eye for recognizing talent and making sure your skills best align with the position you are in and the projects you are working on.
Cons
There are definitely changes in the organization (something past/present employees seem to comment on often), but from my experience, all changes are implemented strategically to better align their business practices with changing markets, employee feedback, and ways to keep Ochsner operating as efficiently as possible. I would be concerned if I were working for a stagnant company which has operated the same way for years and years and appreciate that Ochsner is constantly trying to improve.
