Cons
very old fashioned leadership. Hierarchy is super important. Managers are on a power trip and showed favoritism. Mostly men in leadership and the women in leadership got there playing the men's game (and still do). Lots of nepotism (relatives, married couples). It doesn't matter how long you've worked there, your experience, or your education, it's almost impossible to get promoted (unless you're man...). Raises are 2% max. You can top out of raises in your career there. Your hard work, tenure is not valued. Following a natural disaster, you will be required to use general purpose/sick leave if you evacuated and can't return (because you don't have electricity, for example). Need to offer remote options despite control-freak leaders. Work load can be unbearable. You bring it up and they offer to take a meeting for you. No real change or help. They promise to but don't. As many others have said, pay is low and doesn't even come close to compensate for the work you're required to do.
