Pros

Benefits (health, dental, vision insurance is cheap), good 401K matching, lots of different departments to work and learn in.

Cons

GPT/PTO is earned not given freely. There are no sick days. You get one personal day a year and then only granted 9 sick/personal days if you call in before you get fired or disciplined. So if you have health issues or your child does, it doesn't matter. They don't accept doctors excuses. It doesn't matter if you're in the hospital. You can call in d/t illness and your coworker can call in because they just don't want to come to work and the punishment is the same, even if you have a doctor's excuse and they don't. There a lot of cliques as well. There's a lot of gossip on certain units. The pay is crap if youve been here a while. New grads get paid the same if not more than those of us who have been here for 5+ years. The new CEO makes us feel like a number in a system rather than a human being.
