Pros

There are good people that work at Westbank Ochsner. I met some of the sweetest and most genuine people, but there are a lot more people who will make you question working there. Okay benefits and pto

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism. You're more likely to get a position over someone who is more qualified if you know someone that can get you an in. There are leaders with the mentality "I am an overachiever, so I expect others to perform at my level with no recognition." There is a yes man mentality, so if you say no to any requests, especially from a leader, then it's frowned upon. I was expected to answer calls, texts, and emails outside of my working hours. If you do your job well and someone else it lacking, people will turn to you for the gap with no benefits other than extra stress and maybe a thank you. I can keep going, but I think the gist is clear.
