Company values profit over people, slashed benefits, no work life balance - Anonymous employee Octapharma Plasma Employee Review

I gave over a decade of my life to this company for them to treat me like another number. Which is ironic considering all of the "culture initiatives" they are trying to claim. A few items to be aware of 1) Pay is considerably lower than that of comparable positions in the industry. 2) Working in the plasma centers often poses a safety hazarad from irate donors. Managment will offer little to no support and often side with the donors in order to keep their budget in order. 3) They have slashed their health insurance benefits in half. (Wellness program benefits took $1500 off premiums in previous years - now only $750) I would highly advise NOT WORKING HERE. Due to recent layoffs of hundreds of people, i question the soundness of the business.
