There were talented people on the team and a generally positive culture among coworkers. The company offered flexibility and modern tools, and day-to-day collaboration with peers was enjoyable.
Cons
Leadership communication and planning fell short. The timing of a mass layoff immediately after a company-wide event created confusion and distrust. Messaging around company stability and growth wasn’t transparent, leaving employees uncertain about their future. More honesty and foresight from management would have helped maintain morale.
