Pros
Nice simple snacks, lots of nuts, chips and soda. We have a lot of drinks, sodas and beer. There is a nice lunch on Fridays, it changes every week. You get a new nice Apple laptop. The new building is really big, I don't know why we need so much place to waste money but it is nice. Work pressure is very low, very easy pace compared to other companies. People can come and go whenever they want. Getting unlimited vacation time is easy. Nobody says no even if someone really shouldn't be going on leave so much.
Cons
The problem here is the leadership, both executives and directors. Executives are like dictators that tell every division lead what to do, and they are wrong a lot, almost all the times and then they just move to the next thing when they find out and hide the truth. Also they don't care about anybody below them, something I have not seen in other tech companies. The old leaders and new ones are equally bad this way. Engineering doesn't really have much leadership or say in anything. They always say things are great, because probably executives told them to. You absolutely must be willing to accept there is no transparency. It is like everybody is being fake in saying everything is great, especially the leadership team. All the smart people are leaving from everywhere in the company, I think most of them were from good fast companies like amazon and google, and they went and found other good jobs and left when they figured things out here aren't good. Let's see what the others do. The company had a lot of hope before, but now in engineering and product, it looks disappointing. CX doesn't look much better.
