What a mess - Anonymous employee Ogilvy Employee Review

No internal structure. Leadership is removed from mid-level employees. The three offices of NYC, Denver and Rochester have no alignment and do not follow the same staffing plans or methodologies. Communication needs to improve. People need to learn how to express themselves directly instead of being passive aggressive. The company doesnt know who we are. A ux-driven design shop? A product shop? We say we are boutique but that simply means small, but expensive. New business is lacking, severely and people are consistently worried whether their job will exist in 3 and 6 months.
