Pros
Your coworkers are friendly typically. Most tend to be young since they are naive these days. The owner seems very nice and kind and does go out of his way to reward the employees. He does have a great PR setup going though.
Cons
Challenges are a lack of management experience, human resources should be outsourced they are so terrible. Compared to other companies that make as much money and are as small as this one, the benefits are absolute trash. this is a very successful company for its size, I know companies that do only a fraction of what this company does with the same amount of employees whose benefits are doubled. It's next to impossible to get a raise. But the benefits are so expensive and cover practically nothing that it's more affordable to only have the HSA which is what they try to get you on constantly which also covers nothing. you have no possibility of taking a nonpaid day off without getting a write-up. They allow you five personal days a year along with vacation and once you are out of those days, if you need to call off for whatever reason, not only will you not get paid but you also get wrote up for it despite anything you do or for whatever reason. As far as women's benefits, they pretty much offer nothing for pregnancy and zero benefits for prenatal nor do they offer any maternity leave. The worst part is that they have managers working there that do not know how to perform the job that they supervise and also pass off training and delegate almost all work to subordinates which screws them and the other subordinates when people decide to quit or get fired out of nowhere. The turnover is incredible due to this reason. They tend to overwork the good employees into exhaustion which is why I think so many young employees now inhabit this company. Everyone else quits because they know better or the company forces into quitting.
