Pros

There are many nurses that commute long distances to accept a position with Ohio Health. The first driving factor is wages. Ohio Health offers attractive starting salaries and shift differentials. Secondly, it is a great place for new graduates because of the support network and availability to medical staff and services on a 24 hour basis. Having services available regardless of the time of day promotes the best possible outcome for our patients. The best team of nurses one can hope for.

Cons

It is difficult to advance within the corporation, and it seems dependent on making the right connections within the corporation. HCAHPS and Press Ganey scores impact all hospitals; however, the importance of these benchmarks have placed great amount of stress on all employees. Patients and family members can request any demands they see fit, and the corporation will support them at the expense of the employee to ensure high scores.
